Hey, travel fam! 👋 Just popping in with a quick check-in because I know life has been life-ing for us all. Work has had me on the move, but not the fun kind of traveling that has me sipping a piña colada on the beach. Let’s just say that work travel and personal travel are NOT the same, and I had to learn that the hard way. HAHA! But while I’ve been running through airports with a laptop backpack instead of a cute carry-on, I know y’all are still out there planning your next adventure while pinching those pennies (smart move!).

If you missed my last post, I dropped some solid tips on how to save money on travel without sacrificing the fun. Because let’s be honest—travel is about experiences, not just expenses! No one wants to come back from a trip with only memories of overpriced tourist traps and a bank account crying for mercy. The goal? More adventure, less financial stress.
Speaking of travel wins, have you tried out any of the tips yet? Maybe you snagged an amazing flight deal, found an Airbnb in the perfect location, or mastered the art of eating like a local instead of paying triple for a touristy meal. Or maybe—just maybe—you finally gave free walking tours a shot and realized they’re basically the best-kept secret in travel (seriously, if you haven’t tried one, what are you waiting for?!).

While I’ve been stuck in hotel rooms and driving over the river and through the woods (but sadly, not to a dreamy vacation spot), I’ve been cooking up my next blog post! This time, I’m diving into new adventures, must-see historical gems, and, of course, plenty of pictures to inspire your next trip. I’ll also be sharing even more travel tips—because saving money means more trips, and that’s a win-win for everyone.
Oh, and I might just drop a little sneak peek into my next real adventure! Here’s a hint: The metro system is top-tier, efficient, and definitely my go-to for a budget-friendly ride. Any guesses where I’m headed next? Here’s another clue: This country has two archipelagos, one of them is a matriarchal society where property is owned by women. Drop your guesses in the comments! (And if I've already told you where I'm headed, your guess doesn't count—HAHA! 😂)

Until then, I want to hear from you! What’s your go-to money-saving travel hack? Do you swear by carry-on packing to avoid those baggage fees? Have a favorite budget airline that isn’t a nightmare? Found a way to get hotel upgrades without selling your soul? LMBO. Let’s swap secrets because saving money = more trips, and I think we can all agree that’s the real goal here.
Before I wrap this up, I’ve got one more thing to share with you. A travel buddy reminded me about Rick Steves’ legendary guidebooks. With over 40 years of travel experience, his books cover everything from trip planning and transportation to tipping etiquette. Spending a little on one of these books might just save you hundreds on your trip! Here’s a link to Rick Steves’ website with tons of useful information and travel resources.

And if you’re feeling generous and want to fuel my caffeine-powered content —because let’s be honest, coffee fuels this blog, and your support keeps the adventures coming! If you’d like to contribute, you can find me on CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal, because coffee = content. 😂
Stay tuned, stay adventurous, and as always—travel smart, laugh often, and never skip the fun! ✈️🌍☕
Great tips
Always great advice. I’m sure I can speak for everyone when I say we are excited to see and read all about your next (personal travel) adventure!
I’m stumped without using Google.
And also, admittedly, I had to look up the definition of archipelago 🫣
